Lithium tantalate

Lithium tantalate crystal (LT)

Lithium Tantalate as well as Lithium Niobate belongs to 3M symmetry class. Chemical formula: -LiTaO3. Method for the production - the Czochralski method.  Lithium Tantalate crystals are ferroelectric and they have a pronounced pyroelectric effect. Same as Lithium Niobate wafers, wafers and elements made of Lithium Tantalate are used in the production of SAW and BAW devices, especially where the products miniaturization is required.
